I agree with you. I am gritting my teeth and saying Winston for ONCE you have my support and full support. I suppose though we will have to take his word on whats in the Coalition agreement

Great decision and great purchase. Sure they cost a lot and the money could be used for social ills but we need to play our part, we need quality equipment, and they are compatible with our allies. If the 3ks lasted 50 years surely these will. Lets hope they will find plenty of lost fishermen and toothfish poachers and dont have to sink a Chinese sub

I have been in plenty of court rooms myself and seen white trash from West Auckland. I live in the west myself and am white but also with enough Maori blood to go on the Maori Roll, to call myself a Maori. I have seen Indians and Chinese. I have seen Samoans, Tongans and Fijians. I have seen plenty of racial groups, but I have never heard any other racial or geographic group use their racial make up as an excuse for the reason they are in court. There is one sure thing about criminals across the board, regardless of whether they are a mass murderer, or a fence tagger. Criminals generally in my experience dont like being caught because unless they are a complete eejit, criminals know right from wrong, just like compliant members of society who dont break the law. They know right from wrong. Rather than make excuses. Whooa is me I am Maori Why dont the leaders of this country, the leaders of communities, the leaders of tribes, the leaders of Marae do something about it, and bring back pride into their communities. Teach the rights and wrongs, rather than blaming colonialism. That was 200 years ago. Lets move on. If a community has a gang, if a community has a drug dealer, if a community has a wife basher, if a community has a thief, if a community has a thug, If a community has a person who wont comply to accepted community standards - It is up to the community to do something about it. Dont blame me because I have predominantly white blood because I am sick of excuses and the blame game.

Well said mate. It is hard to equate a purchase from 1845 to now where there were no documents drawn up, no lawyers and probably no cash

What about Ngapuhi of which I am a descendant. Brought, stole or acquired muskets and then went on murderous rampages south killing hundreds or thousands. Do those victims count or is that Europes fault as well

Have Labour reduced GST, have Labour reduced the retirement age, have Labour reduced the PMs salary, have Labour recalled that tax cut, have Labour brought anything back. No to everything. I tell you what they have done, brought in new taxes. I AM AWAKE

Tyford bangs on about investing in road safety but both he and his useless associate Genter point blankly refuse to answer simple emails directed to them asking what they are going to do about foreigners killing locals and if they are going to paint arrows on the roads. No emails no response. How would he feel if his elderly mother was killed. How would that useless Genter feel. I am so pissed off at these incompetent idiots

Dominated by Pakeha might be 1 in the statistical sense but if you are unhappy we are in a democracy so you can do something about it. You need 500 people to register a political party. Go ahead and do it. Make the Westminster system work for you

It is not a colonial attitude though it is the truth. I am a descendant if both sides as my great grandfather married a Maori women in 1892. Sure her parents were as a result of a mix marriage way back. They had hard times but I have never heard excuses. I agree with the post as it is the truth. Responsibility, pride, respect, honour, aspirations - they all come from within not because 170 years ago a person or a tribe MAY have been wronged

I read the information on the 1080 website this week. This is after the illegally bludgeoned pigeons were dropped at parliament and claimed as 1080 kill. The information I have read is that it is safe on the environment and deadly to vermin. If the anti brigade hate it that much as an alternative they will have to get off their butts and work 24/7 to trap and shoot and trap

The 15 times includes people like me who has way more European blood and a small amount of Maori but for convenience claim they are Maori

If the quick throw in from Jordie had found Ioane and he had gone onto score, you would be hailing Jordie as a genius. The pass didnt work, he knows that and I am sure is feeling bad about it. I would have to go back and check but after the world cup final where Smith was yellow carded and the Wallabies scored two tires in that time, were you critical of Smith. Even the best players make mistakes. We lost that test because we believed our own press and were arrogant to think all we need ed to do was take the field. It was a great learning for the players. Strip Read of the captaincy, give it to Sam Whitelock and the team will function much better.

The same thing happened in 1949 and 1976. In 1949 both teams played test matches on the same day in different countries. Home and South Africa. 1n 1976 there were separate tours to South Africa and Argentina. There were no players who went on both, so why would past All Blacks be turning in their graves. The precedent was set in 49

Nick Williams because he was born in New Zealand made a choice to play for New Zealand. He cant have it both ways. Binder Ahkee chose to go overseas as he was not good enough for the ABs. The same for Charles Piatau who threw his toys and went overseas. These players cant have it both ways. When Piatau played for the ABs what were his Tongan intentions then
