A Nissan e-nv200, basically a leaf with a van body, in Auckland.Rather than pay the shipping cost I also drove it to Wellington, actually Waikanae, 50km north.17.5 hours later me and my new van were very good but tired friends.With, what I found out to be a realistic 60-70km range at 100km/h, they are not designed for the open road. Perfect around town but the van hates doing 100 km/h over any long distance.Next time Ill just put it onto a transporter.

As much as its the elected councilors fault for allowing this shambles to happen. A bigger portion of the blame has to fall on the highly paid middle and senior management council bureaucrats, who formulate the plans for council approval. They are the ones who need to be held accountable!But sadly, all too often instead of being demoted or sacked, they will have been shuffled sideways or will have moved onwards and upwards to stuff up somewhere else.Incompetent, narcissistic management is a major problem in NZ!

Im 56 still working but had a few months of due to illness. While I was off I joined Menzshed Kapiti. What a great bunch of guys!Everyones very supportive and positive. They are so busy doing community projects and have so many members now that Kapiti is going to build new rooms. To help fun raise there is a garage sale tomorrow (Saturday) at Rangihoria St Waikanae Beach.Come along and support the old fellas and the not so old.

What has happened, is that concessive governments primary National, have sold the citizens of NZ, as endentured workers, along with our land and infrastructure to multinationals for a few cheep pieces of silver!
