The guys doing the hard yards are often to blame.Had an episode on a project this week where we had a design, the guys decided to make up their own method, now I have to pay costs for remedial works (and take responsibility for the revised design) all because the guys doing the hard yards thought they knew better.
I agree in principle. However, the old ministry of works was a behemoth and would just be a bureaucratic nightmare in todays H&S environment. Nobody would wipe their own bum without fear of investigation, qorking group review, Ministerial adjudication, appeal and subsequent 3 year trial.
Interesting that you say fat cats would holiday in Fiji. Eerm, no. They have proper holidays in real destinations like Europe, Sout America, Caribbean, etc.That.kind of statement says a lot about your own diminished world view
Elected official? Yeah, God doesnt operate via democratic nonsense, especially not a bunch of self-serving Romans that left all biblical principles behind centuries ago.God created everyone, 1. But he created us with free will. You and I can easily choose to obey or break the law, several times a day.Are you saying God also created people to be murderers, liars, thieves, etc? Sin is sin., and this kind of approach is the liberal nonsense that you can do whatever you like as long as it feels good. The Pope, I suspect, has never actually read a Bible in his life otherwise he would never have said anything like that.
Quite a big difference. Folau posted his comments on twitter. Your choice if you read them or scroll on.Screaming at mourners at a funeral is disgusting. Also, they utter falicies like God hates gays, which has no basis in the Bible at all.God hates sin, he doesnt hate sinners. Otherwise hed also hate every member of the Westboros.
Really, readingnews?Typical of todays entitled society. Nobody can take responsibility for their own stuff ups. Always gotta blame somebody else, eh?Whatever happened to just doing the job youre paid to do? Paid above market rates too, I might add.
If Auckland wants investment Auckland can pay for it. Same with Christchurch for that matter. All this bleating for everyone else to pay for stadiums etc gets up my nose.Dunedin ratepayers just got on with it and built theirs themselves. Now all the bigger, wealthier cities are jealous and want one but refuse to pay themselves. Worse, they want taxpayers money meaning the good people of Dunedin will be paying for their own stadium and everyone elses. Disgusting greed.PS, I dont live in Dunedin. Nearby, but outside the boundaries so my rates werent affected
Stop your nonsense.Property investment has always been a thing. Stop trying to blame a government of 9 years for all the ills in your life. And if you think a few people buying a rental or 2 is driving up house prices then you really need to do a short course in economics. And btw, I live in a small town of about 850 people. Next town is about the same size.Funny enough, everyone is crying out for rental properties. Plenty of houses for sale in town, but nobody is buying them.Your theory is a dead duck.
Wakeup - yes, Folau is a Christian not Jewish. Jesus came to fulfil the law, not destroy it. Read a bit more and fully understand that claim before repeating random snippets of nothingness.
Kapiti Expressway: more cracks and still waiting for repairs to leaky surface
