I love toll roads, not great if your credit card is maxed and you have 3 days to pay. I prefer cash myself but no, you cant do that. The road out by Tauranga is an excellent road but unlike transmission gully, once you are on it, thats it, you cant get off till the end. So who is going to police this and how are they going to collect? It would be nice if you could pay at a bank. Perhaps pay like a ten trip ticket in advance, forward your car number plate and the cameras click one trip off your card every time you enter the toll road?
