What is the point in banning plastic bags when we companies like Glad who continually make plastic products putting more into the environment. I cannot believe that this religious nonsense is still being taught in schools when it is highly inappropriate to be teaching a religion in any school where we now have people of many religions and beliefs. NZ is a mostly secular country and over half the population is non religious. It is really only the elderly who are dwindling and the migrants who are interested in religion.School boards can very easily tell parents anything and they never produce any proof of their claims as to why they say most people want something. This loophole needs to be closed and religion kept out of state schools. It is brainwashing kids to believe fairy stories as fact. The churches these educators are connected to are only trying to get more people into their churches because that means more undeclared, untaxed tithe money in these Christian churches and they need more people are more an more leave religion in this country.I dont not believe most parents want religion taught at this school, I bet that so called school survey wasnt even talking about religion., if there even was one at all?. What is the point in banning plastic bags when we companies like Glad who continually make plastic products putting more into the environment. There is far more food wrapped in unrecyclable plastic sold in the supermarkets than there are plastic bags there. What about companies that sell furniture,when you unpack the items its covered in endless plastic and polystyrene,nothing is done about them. Or companies that wrap their pallets of goods in plastic before delivery,what is being done about them?

A dear friend of mine was starting his pro boxing career after being in Muay Thai for years and he got into the ring on his first pro match overseas and collected one punch to the head which knocked him out within 30 seconds ,it killed him in a matter of minutes on his first round. He was 29 and 6 months from his 30th birthday very very sad. People dont realise how dangerous it really is. Most boxers have early onset dementia and other permanent head injuries later in life.

What is wrong with learning morals and standards because you should be a good person anyway?. Because if you dont act nicely to other people you will lose their respect and get yourself into trouble.
