House prices are already unaffordable in many parts of the country for the average kiwi and the amount of land wasted by people who insist on furthering their affluenza aspirations by building huge McMansions in soulless property developments (Rolleston near Christchurch being a good example) is criminal. all the THM supporters want is to be able to get ahead without such a huge environmental footprint as the aforementioned monstrosities create. Having to build on wheels to avoid some of the draconian building regulations is a shame when in reality most THM people just want to be off the grid as much as possible and preserve the environment.
