In Paul Manafort you have a man who was earning tens of millions of dollars working for the pro-Russian leader of Ukraine. Suddenly in 2014 that income tap is turned off. By 2016 Manafort has no income coming in at all. So he goes to Trump and offers to work for him for free, no salary. Why? Out of the goodness of his heart? Doubtful. Manafort was expecting to get paid some other way. He presence at the Trump Tower meeting is significant. But possibly more importantly was his involvement in getting the GOP to change their policies regarding Ukraine and Russia at the July 2016 national convention. You dont have to be a rocket scientist to join the dots here. | 75 | 95 | 20 | Thinking Age Man |

Legitimate or not, he is probably the most anti-law president in US history. At some stage he has attacked just about every judicial body in the US. His approach is My way, or the wrong way. And since his way flips on a daily basis, its like having a whole herd of bulls in a porcelain factory. | 70 | 100 | 30 | rosselliot |
Yet another of Trumps confidants investigated, exposed, charged and convicted as a criminal. Losing track now, how many is that? So much for your rigged witch hunt Donald - seems theres a big group of witches all undertaking criminal activity after all...and in the case of Cohen, looks like some of that criminal activity was under orders from his no.1 client.Nervous, Donald? You should be...not long now. | 68 | 100 | 32 | tc43 |
Trump may or may not be good for the people of the USA, his policies may or may not be working, there is some truth on both sides of these arguments, how much who knows. But, he is also an awful person, most likely, and becoming more obvious but the moment, a dishonest crook.Do those who hold the cards in US politics have the moral fortitude to take the action required? I am not so sure. | 59 | 80 | 21 | Kiwirambled |
Even more than Nixon, Trump is now an illegitimate president whose election is tainted by fraud.Never a word more 1. impeachment anyone? | 55 | 86 | 31 | hashtag |
If 8 convictions and 10 mistrials out of 18 charges is a witch hunt, I wonder what Trumps idea of reasonable suspicion is. | 53 | 62 | 9 | Ros-co |
Other than one or two unsupported allegations from a couple of far right wing sources, I can find no evidence that Manafort was was ever working for Hillary. | 52 | 58 | 6 | Annie_Rose |
The Trump organization has been an ongoing criminal enterprise for decades. Just ask anyone along the eastern seaboard of the US, who has done business with him, and they will confirm, with first-hand experience, my initial contention. The fact that - despite Trumps public history of business and personal dishonor - the US electorate voted him into office does not speak well of the US educational system or American civil-ethics.

Once again Saint Donald the Duplicitous stands before the people of the world showing himself to be the most deluded president ever. His despicable contempt for the rule of law, for truth, for the US Constitution are quite simply despicable and contemptible. And the US Congress are complicit in this. In the name of democracy the people of the US need to act at the mid terms. If they dont, they give the lie to everything Lincoln said at Gettysburg. The US experiment with their version of democracy will indeed have been in vain. | 47 | 73 | 26 | BigLoudSkyFella |
Well, you would hope so. But judging by the comments on here, he could be caught red-handed beating up children and murdering pets and there are plenty of people in NZ who would still support him. I actually find it deeply worrying. Have they no moral compass? | 46 | 57 | 11 | Macman |

He was dodgy before he ran for office and he hasnt changed. You dont need the media to tell you that. | 41 | 46 | 5 | Puzzled |
American morals are laughable.
I cannot see where their political system has lost more credibility, in such a short period. | 38 | 49 | 11 | RugbySucks |

Trump will be putting the necessary paperwork in place to give a presidential pardon to these turkeys as we speak, this buying their silence..... | 37 | 53 | 16 | Happydaze |
Trump winning in 20/20 is probable but its also symptomatic of the collapse of the USA as a super power. His support base has become a cult and history would suggest that this never ends well . | 36 | 45 | 9 | Petal |
May this the beginning of the end of the most despised person to ever be the US president. | 35 | 69 | 34 | TonyO |
