Sticks and stones will break my bones but anything Don Brash says will offend a lefty and that is a good enough reason to shut him down (according to the lefties whose feelings might get hurt). Poor students living in a safe spaces bubble on campus. Dont want to expose them to real world views, they might get scared.

| Im Maori and dont agree with the process Brash proposes to lose the Maori seats (I think they will eventually disappear and that will be a good thing). Ive debated Brash personally. As I say I dont agree with him. But thats the point eh - we debate those we disagree with. We dont shut them down! This is a cowardly and unconscionable attack on our kiwi freedoms. And let me add - I come from proud warrior stock. Our people once were warriors. We dont need safe spaces or to be protected from speech we may not like. The racism come from those who think we Maori are so fragile we need to be protected from an elderly man who speaks his mind. This sort of racist nonsense from the University infantilizes Maori and needs to be vigorously resisted by our people.
